I’ve been busy.
Adulting is hard! Work long hours, go to gym, run errands, get home, eat dinner, go to bed, sleep, wake up. Repeat.
Good news is I’ve been eating decently and going to the gym.
Bad news is I hit a wall today.
I was so tired by end of the day I chose to skip the gym tonight. I didn’t have candy for dinner and I did resist the fast food temptations along the way but I did have some frozen pizza.
Now I feel guilty for skipping the gym so I’ll probably do some jogging in place to make up some steps but maybe not because I am really tired. I struggle to find the balance between pushing myself to do more and pushing myself to exhaustion.
I did an 8 mile hike on Sunday. Worked Monday, plus went to the gym. Worked on Tuesday then went to trivia. Worked on Wednesday then went to the gym. Today I decided I needed a night at home.
The nights I’m working and going to the gym I’m sometimes not getting home until almost 7 then by the time I make dinner it’s bed time. I needed some time to do some chores and relax. I’ll be back in the gym tomorrow…as long as the power is on. We’re expected to get hit with some serious storms over the next few days so I’m preparing myself for some time without power over the weekend.
If I do have power I plan to upload some pics from the hike this weekend but if that doesn’t happen I will have meal plans! I know I said that last week but this week I’ve already started the post so it’ll be ready on Monday.
I can see the wind starting to pick up so I’m off to batton down the hatches, which mostly just means making sure my phone is charged XD
