All About Me, Chapter One

My name is Tasha.  I’m 35, single, and living in super small town, USA.  I’m currently unemployed and was diagnosed as pre-diabetic.  These conditions inspired me to begin a journey of change, both professionally and personally.  I was stuck in a rut for so long waiting for fate to intervene and show me the way to change but I’m learning if I want change I have to make it happen.

I decided I need to forge my own path to happiness, health, and success.  I’m changing my diet, working out, and working on my career.  My blog is a documentation of my transition during these changes, as well as some general observations about the world around me.

This blog inspired me to begin writing poetry again, which you can read on Poetic Ramblings of the Past, and also to share my photography on My World Through a Lens.  Using the time to revive my creativity has allowed me to connect with people and also allowed me to consider the possibilities of what might be considered the less traveled career paths.

Hope you enjoy reading!

I don’t think there’s such a thing as pinning back to someone too often 🙂 I love challenges and awards or even just comments

Nice to “meet” you and I wish you well on your journey. I need to get my own butt in gear and get healthier and more fit. Maybe you will motivate me in that way!! Thanks for following me and I look forward to reading your poetry as well as your posts. Thanks and have a great day, Cheryl

Thanks! Nice to “meet” you too. I loved all the pics on your site, made me add Toronto to my must visit list 🙂
My biggest advice with getting healthier and more fit is try not to fall into trends, look at it as a lifestyle change instead of a diet, and find exercise you enjoy that fits your life:) Thanks for reading and following!

You are so right. It has to be a mind shift and something that I want to do rather than I must. Thanks, Cheryl
