Today’s the day of my big interview. I know I’m prepared but I’m afraid the second I get in there I’m going to forget everything, like my name, why I’m there, what state I live in, my job history, basically I’m afraid my brain will just go blank so right now I’m just trying to calm myself.
I keep telling myself I’m just going in there to talk to some people about myself, my skills, and telling them why I can do this job then I try to ignore the part about how getting this job could impact my future. I have to stay in the moment. I’m focusing on getting through this interview then wait for the next step and hopefully enjoy the weekend!
I’m listening to 90s hip hop radio basically getting ready for a job interview the same way I get ready to go out, just with a more professional look when I walk out the door 😉

Transitions in my Life 
Did you hear anything? I got rejected for one of the two jobs I applied for. I had the other interview today and I had a good feeling about it, but now I don’t know what to expect. Hope you had some good news

I’m sorry you got rejected for the one job but sounds like the other interview went well. I’m supposed to hear by the end of the week so now I’m just trying to stay busy and optimistic.
I have a good feeling and it feels right but like you said you don’t know what to expect other than more waiting….Hoping for the best for you. When are you supposed to hear back?

They had two other candidates yesterday and two others next week. I’m hoping Wednesday or at least end of the week. Hope it’s positive news for you

The waiting is the worst! How soon until you hear back? I should know in a week.
I’m in one of my favorite cities with my best friend so it should be an awesome weekend….if I can stop going over my interview in my head, lol 🙂
